My Flight Simulator Setup

My flight simulator setup consists of Saitek flight controls, including the yoke, throttle quadrant, and pedals. An Epson widescreen projector and a DaLite 70" Screen.  Running Microsoft FSX.

Mini Baseball Bat Holder

I built this for my son to display his collection of mini bats.  It took a couple of hours over two evenings to put together.  It's built from a 1x4x4 and a 4ft piece of 3/8" dowel rod.  It's lightly stained and protected with clear polyurethane.

Decision Points

I just finished Decision Points by George W. Bush.  If you're opinion of Mr. Bush is negative, you should read this book.  A lot of people in the media made him out to be a dunce, but a dunce didn't write this.  Loaded with interesting stories and insight into the presidency, you will feel proud to live in the greatest country in the world.  (if you live in the USA)

Dual XHD6430 - This radio is a turd.

I've had this radio for two months. In the two months, I have removed the detachable face seven times... not for security reasons, but to press the little reset button. It just locks up and the only way to fix it is the reset button. Now the detachable face plate won't stay on!!! Apparently the seven removals and reinstallations have taken their toll on the little plastic holes that hold the unit together. Another thing I don't like: While listening to the radio, if you get a call using the BlueTooth kit, the unit switches to the phone call fine. But, when you end the call, it will switch back to FM Radio with no sound! I have to hit tune down, then tune up to get the radio station to start playing again. I returned it to the manufacturer and they sent me a refurbished replacement.  The new radio has better plastic holes, but it still locks up all the time!!!  This thing is a turd... Don't buy one.

April Fools Prank

With the help of a good-spirited customer, we played an April Fools joke on one of our Salesmen. The customer called the Salesman complaining and threatening to never buy from us again. See the Salesman's response when he finds out it's a prank!

(in a sentence - If he tries the spin-kick, I'll counter with a quahetus maneuver.
